City of Edmonton pets and licencing

The City of Edmonton's official website maintains a section related to pets. There you can find information about lost dogs, shelters, licenses and other issues related to dogs. licenses are available on the pet licenses page. Cats and dogs less than 6 months old get licenses for free and spayed / neutered animals receive the first year of license for free.

Edmonton dog rescue and humane society

The Edmonton Humane Society is a great place to find pets available for adoption, events related to dogs and other pets - they also offer training programs, volunteering options and educational materials. Your generous donations help save the lives of many animals!
